BABS BREAKOUT at First Pitch Florida

First Pitch Florida is a weekend-long, immersive fantasy baseball experience designed to get you fully prepared for the 2020 season. It is sponsored by BaseballHQ.com, the organizers of the 25-year-old First Pitch Arizona event that Ron Shandler started. First Pitch Florida combines interactive conference sessions, tickets to two Grapefruit League games, live draft competitions for attendees, along with the LABR expert league drafts.

As part of the conference program, Ron will be running a breakout session on all things BABS. For newbies, he’ll provide a condensed tutorial about how the Broad Assessment Balance Sheet works. And then he’ll talk about the most fascinating player ratings and asset groups. He’ll show how BABS has uncovered huge profit opportunities in the past and how you can use her to build the strongest draft roster in 2020.

In addition, Ron will be live shadow-drafting the AL and NL LABR experts leagues (as well as participating in the new LABR Mixed auction) and moderating the follow-up roundtable sessions. His write-ups of the experience will appear in The Athletic in early March.
